President Obama took to the Sunday talk show circuit with a vengeance last week. He appeared on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and the Hispanic network Univision. Man, this guy has some serious energy. Was There Respect?
Let me start by stating the obvious, Obama is a good public speaker. Good or not, I didn’t like the tone of the speech. I don’t like seeing anyone of his standing publicly berate Congress. We learned through the experiences of the Soviet Union that socialism doesn’t work. In the long run, government attempts at providing for a populace through central planning is destined to fail. It was suggested that I elaborate a bit on Part ll of this series, and try to develop ideas for a health care system that will save money and provide excellent service. This will require a bit of repitition, but may give better understanding.
