You Gotta Love It
If you don’t read The Economist you should consider it. It’s a British news magazine that’s been around since 1843, and like all news magazines it has a liberal slant. I like it because it’s good, honest reporting that covers the entire globe. It also has a great business section. Being British, they don’t worry about “political correctness”, (more…)

Why Bother?
A good friend of mine told me of a political conversation he had with another person, and, when asked, that person admitted that he doesn’t vote. He believes it doesn’t matter since the electoral college decides the outcome. The electoral college only applies to the presidential election, but its impact is important nonetheless, because the result is the loss of a vote. (more…)

If they did, they would learn that which you and I already know; people naturally avoid doing difficult things that are not required, unless they see a significant benefit to doing them.
